Even though Taylor and Emily’s wedding day was back in Emily’s hometown of St. Louis, they tied in tropical elements from their love story into the planning and styling of their wedding day!
From the start, Emily knew she wanted to style their theme around her and Taylor’s new home together in LA, incorporating palms into their florals. Keeping things bright and cheery, their florist used colorful and tropical blooms to pull it all together!
Even though we don’t have many beaches here in St. Louis, the Bongiovanni’s venue at Old Hickory lent itself well to their vibes, with the gorgeous lakes and towering trees over the manicured greens.
Their ceremony took place in the tree grove, which is shaded but backlit by the glowing sunlight! It was a gorgeous setting, and one could very well mistake it for the palms and grassy lawns of a Hawaiian resort, which is where Emily and Taylor got engaged!
With no first look, Taylor got to catch the first glimpse of his bride as she walked down the aisle towards him, and his reaction was tearful and so sweet!
From the ceremony onward, the party did not slow down! From sharing a glass of bourbon as a unity ceremony to every generation getting down on the dance floor, The Bongiovanni’s and all their guests partied the night away!
